I connected with the founder of Explore Kibera Tours through Designism Connects, Causes & Creatives for Social Change. EKT is a social tourism project designed to raise awareness about the Kibera slum community in Nairobi, Kenya. They offer safe walking tours and reinvestment all profits back into the community by hiring local staff, supporting local development projects, and bringing a stream of demand to local craft makers. Their new identity was inspired by the unique charm of a fascinating place with raw eye-opening yet encouraging experiences.
